Occupational Therapist – Outpatient Rehabilitation - Travel Position

Location : Havre, MT

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 5x7s Days

Pay : $2,675 / week

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join an outpatient rehabilitation facility in Havre, MT, on a travel contract. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients recovering from illness, surgery, or injury with the goal of restoring independence in daily living skills, mobility, and functional activities. The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and experienced in outpatient rehab therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide outpatient therapy interventions including ADL retraining, strengthening, neuromuscular re-education, and adaptive techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, safety practices, and home exercise programs.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physical therapy, speech therapy, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Promote independence, recovery, and quality of life through evidence-based outpatient occupational therapy practices.
