This role requires providing exceptional respiratory care to our neonatal and pediatric patients on the night shift, from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM. Key duties include ventilator management, oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and supporting critically ill neonates and children with specialized respiratory needs. No call responsibilities are included, and credentialed therapists will deliver evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes. What You Bring : Licensed and Certified : Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, current ACLS, BLS, NRP (for NICU), and PALS certifications. Experience : Prior NICU / Pediatrics experience preferred; ICU or Neonatal ICU experience is highly desirable. Technical Skills : Proficiency in ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and use of electronic medical records (EMR). Patient Care : Ability to assess patient needs swiftly, support neonatal stabilization, and adapt to rapid changes in patient condition. Communication : Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with medical teams, patients, and families. Adaptability : Capable of working independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations, maintaining high standards of patient safety. Preferred Education & Experience : Education : Associate Degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent. Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a NICU or pediatric critical care setting. Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients and ventilator management highly preferred. Additional Skills : Knowledge of neonatal ventilators, infant respiratory support equipment, and modern EMR systems.
