Phlebotomist

Currently recruiting a Phlebotomist to work at Malcom Grow Medical Center, Joint Base Andrews, MD. The Phlebotomist provides care for our nations active duty service members, their families, and retirees. The Phlebotomist is a full-time position, 80 hours per two weeks., Full benefits, including 17 days paid vacation / sick leave and 10 paid Federal holidays.

DUTIES OF THE PHLEBOTOMIST :

• The contracted Certified Phlebotomist will provide the following services and in strict compliance with standing orders and protocols set forth by the MTF, and IAW JC guidelines to include :

Properly identifying and label specimens.

Ensure compliance with standard of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment MTF and IAW JC guidelines. Provides care within ethical and legal boundaries.
