Summary

This role supports the legal function by managing the company's legal workflow and contracts. They help draft, revise and negotiate contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, statements of work, and clinical trial agreements. This role serves as primary point of contact across the company for all legal-related requests. Their work requires a practical, customer service mindset to help the company move ahead responsibly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Management : Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including NDAs, licensing agreements, vendor contracts and Clinical Trial Agreements
  • Implementing and improving contract management and legal operations processes and tools
  • Regulatory Compliance : Support the legal team in navigating SEC and other regulatory frameworks relevant to biotech operations
  • Corporate Governance : Maintain corporate records
  • Purchase Order and Contract Processes : Represent legal function in ERP workflows
  • Support General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer in corporate diligence processes
  • Contribute and provide support for special projects as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in a contract management, contract administrator, or paralegal role, including experience drafting, revising, and marking up agreements.
  • Strong understanding of contract principles and legal terminology.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Experience with life sciences, biotechnology industry is a plus.
  • Experience with clinical trial agreements is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • Current authorization to work in the US.
