Medical Billing Specialist

Medical Billing Specialist needed for full-time contract position with potential for direct-hire. This is a great opportunity for those with 1+yr of Medicaid Billing and Claims experience and strong customer service skills looking for a foot in the door with a premier employer.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Posting Medicaid remittances including working denials
• Working Medicaid Aged Receivables
• Processing Spenddown Invoices daily
• Follow up on invoices to verify clients have been opened
• Review and adjustment of client accounts to ensure proper billing
• Set up and maintenance of Spenddown Information, Eligibility and other Spenddown related fields
• Providing excellent customer service to patients or staff with billing related questions
