Location : Culver City, CA (Onsite)

Job Description :

An Infrastructure Specialist in Platform Engineering Services acts as a trusted advisor to Client IT, providing expertise in infrastructure, security, and risk management. They analyze and resolve incidents, provision, deploy, configure, migrate, manage, and support infrastructure products. Their primary responsibility is to ensure high-quality technical support, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and adhering to process compliance. By conducting business impact analyses and risk assessments, they minimize the likelihood of significant service outages or disasters, thereby enhancing overall IT resilience.

Required skills : (NO REMOTE- MUST BE ONSITE AT CLIENT 4 DAYS A WEEK)

Must have skills :

1. Nutanix 'Flow', Micro-segmentation / Security / SDN, creation, management

2. Nutanix AHV, Management of Storage

3. Experience with deploying and managing workloads

4. AOS and Prism experience

5. Cluster creation, expansions

Candidates who have supported Managed Services clients seems to be key right now.

Dan did not have enough Linux experience (we even discussed it during the interview process and he mentioned based on the interview he felt like he would not be a strong match)

Manish Jain (since this role was posted as a duplicate) was not selected to move onto the next round either-

He has a basic level of understanding of Linux admin, mainly from the storage and networking perspective. No Ansible, a little Terraform. Working knowledge of bash scripting and a small amount of python

They need a strong mix of Linux with Nutanix, someone who has worked with managed services clients.
