AION Management a leading real estate investment and management firm is seeking aManagement CompanyControllerto join its Controller will serve as the financial leader of thevertically integratedPropertyManagementCompany responsible forthe day-to-dayfinancialoperationsincluding oversight of AP / ARensuringaccurateand transparentfinancial reporting operational efficiencyinternal controlsand compliance across a portfolio of managedmultifamilyassets. This role oversees all accounting financial analysis reporting and budgetingactivities whileprovidingstrategic financial insights to senior management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background inManagement Companyaccounting and an ability tooptimizeprocessesand streamline systemswithin a dynamic growth-oriented is a hands-on role offering exposure to all aspects of the business with significant potential for growth and development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions foramultifamilyProperty Management Companyincluding general ledgermaintenance accounts payable accounts receivableproperty billing intercompany transactionsand payroll.
• Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Coordinate and deliver monthly financial reporting packages including bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting to ownership.
• Coordinate and review operating budgets cash flow projections and variance analyses.
• Provide ongoing variance analysis operational trend reporting and recommendations to improve performance.
• Establish and maintain standardized accounting policies procedures and internal controls.
• Supervise accounting staff providing guidance training performance feedback and instilling accountability.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency including automation and reporting tools.
• Manage annual external audit.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
