Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Founded in 1911, our Psychiatry Department has a proud history of excellence in patient care, education, clinical training, and research, particularly in mood disorders. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive education, research, and clinical care that are inclusive, collaborative, and patient-centered. Our mission is to enhance the mental health and well-being of communities in Tennessee and globally by fostering integrated and inclusive approaches in education, clinical training, research, care, and public service.

• Provide outpatient psychiatric care, averaging 14 patients per day.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Participate in teaching and administrative duties, contributing to the educational mission of the department.
• Opportunities to engage in consult work a few days per week, if desired.
• Support the department's ongoing research initiatives in mood disorders.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment for both patients and colleagues.
• J1 and H1B eligible with immigration attorneys to help you through the process.
