Overview

Dental Care Assistant

Join the compassionate team at Life Dental Specialties as a skilled Dental Care Assistant. You will play a vital role in supporting our providers during treatment, ensuring exceptional patient care, and enhancing the overall efficiency of our practice.

Schedule : Full Time, Tuesday - Friday 7 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm

Responsibilities :

  • Provide chair-side clinical support by assisting with procedures, charting, patient education, and managing operatory set-up and clean-up.
  • Deliver an outstanding patient experience throughout their appointment.
  • Take and process X-rays for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Execute sterilization processes for dental equipment and operatories.
  • Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with workplace regulations.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of dental assisting experience.
  • Registered Dental Assistant in Massachusetts.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
  • Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
