Summary
Ricoh is seeking a reliable Senior On-Site Service Specialist to provide comprehensive onsite operational support including mailroom services high-volume print / imaging tasks administrative assistance scanning package handling and customer service. This is a temp-to-hire role with the intention of converting the right candidate to full-time employment.
Work may involve significant walking standing and lifting (50 lbs required). The role uses digital scanners copiers printers and basic computer applications (email MS Office). Parking is provided.
Key Responsibilities
Print Imaging & Document Services
Operate high-volume copiers printers and document imaging systems.
Use document imaging and document-handling software.
Perform binding finishing QC checks and final output review.
Open save transfer and manage digital files according to established protocols.
Access and work within document management systems.
Mailroom & Shipping
Sort distribute and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Apply postage and operate high-volume mail management systems.
Respond to email inquiries regarding mail and package status.
Conduct regular mail runs and package deliveries throughout the facility.
Receive check in and deliver packages.
Administrative & Office Support
Use MS Office and email for communication and basic data management tasks.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
Maintain logs and records for printing imaging shipping and billing.
Support meeting room setups and general office upkeep.
Provide reception support as needed (higher-level customer interaction).
Perform filing archiving and document purge tasks.
Facilities & Equipment Support
Conduct daily inspections of convenience copiers; clear jams and identify issues.
Provide basic equipment maintenance; coordinate service calls.
Perform light maintenance duties (e.g. relamping).
Move equipment or office items as required.
May involve occasional cleaning tasks.
Other
May require overtime including occasional nights / weekends for urgent needs.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Site Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of experience in a related field (mailroom customer service warehouse reception office admin).
Copy / print center experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Good PC skills (email MS Office).
Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
Ability to operate office machines and technical equipment.
Basic math and filing skills.
Data management competency (scanning file handling digital logs).
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50-55 lbs regularly.
Ability to push / pull equipment up to 700 lbs (on wheels) when needed.
Frequent walking standing bending reaching and similar physical activity.
Walking between buildings may be required.
