Your Responsibilities :

• Ensure a clean, safe operating room environment and utilize aseptic surgical techniques
• Prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for diverse surgical procedures
• Assist in maintaining surgical setups and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
• Transport patients and equipment as necessary
• Maintain specialty carts and ensure equipment is in working order
• Function as a Second Assistant when required
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development for patients of all ages

Licensure and Education :

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 6 months
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program is required

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift and carry various weights safely
• Stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout your shift
• Exposed to potential hazards such as chemicals, radiation, and biological materials
