Delivery Leader - Transportation
The Transportation South Group (TSG) is seeking a strong leader to serve as Delivery Leader (DL) for the transportation portfolio in TSG. The DL is a key role in managing the overall operations and delivery of the TSG portfolio, including pricing strategies, management of the P&L, delivering projects per our Corporate Quality Standards, providing excellent client service, and maximizing the long-term profitability of the firm. A successful DL builds a high-performing project management and commercial leader (PMCL) team through effective leadership and rigorous application of Project Delivery framework. This position can be based out of any of our Transportation South Group offices.
Key Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning or related discipline.
AICP, PTP, PE, CEP or approved certification in a related field. Or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning or related discipline.
15 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree or 14 years of experience with a Masters degree.
Domestic and / or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
Preferred Qualifications
Successfully managed a $30M or larger diverse portfolio of strategic projects for key clients within the TSG, demonstrating strong leadership and execution capabilities.
Possesses strong sales acumen and maintains well-established client relationships across the TSG, contributing to sustained business growth and client satisfaction.
Proven track record in managing complex, multi-disciplinary transportation projects, including design, planning, CEI, toll services, and transit initiatives.
Demonstrates strong business development capabilities through effective client engagement and successful proposal development.
Deep expertise in project management methodologies, encompassing contract administration, budget planning, scheduling, quality assurance, risk mitigation, and financial oversight.
Skilled in building and sustaining strong delivery teams to ensure consistent project execution and client satisfaction.
Adept at managing multiple concurrent workstreams, balancing competing priorities, and driving projects to meet deadlines and expectations.
Possesses sound business judgement, critical thinking, and analytical skills to support strategic decision-making.
Effective in navigating and resolving complex conflicts, fostering collaboration across diverse perspectives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
