Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office.

Description : JOB SUMMARY
Assist Physician with patient examination and treatment, responsible for patient histories, routine diagnostic procedures, as well as some clerical duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate patient care.
- Preliminary work-up : history, chief complaint, visual acuity, eye pressure, pupil reactions, scope of vision, color vision, muscle movement, angle assessment
- Tonometry (Applanation, Tonopen, Icare).
- Diagnostic testing : OCT, Visual Fields, Fundus Photos.
- Administer drops under physician supervision.
- Take and explain tests, procedures, treatments, and diagnoses to patients.
- Maintain and stock all exam rooms.
- Clean and maintain all instruments.
- Assist physician in minor office surgery.
- Return and answer patient phone calls as needed.
