Responsibilities Work in a Neuro Stepdown unit within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital Night shifts are scheduled from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00, working three 12-hour shifts per week Care for neuro patients with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 5 Every other weekend shifts are required Floating between units and to sister facilities within the state is expected No on-call responsibilities Uses the Epic EMR system; prior Epic experience required Provide specialized nursing care to stepdown neuro patients utilizing telemetry monitoring Work within a multidisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment Expected to complete required modules pre-start and on an annual basis Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) is approved; all RTO must be requested up front Travelers may be required to wear scrubs of any color No cost for staff parking Requirements Active WA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum of 2 years recent neuro stepdown / telemetry experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Must provide at least 2 supervisory references covering one year of recent employment in a comparable specialty / setting Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rate Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before applying as a traveler All required certifications and documentation must be submitted for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622247.
