We've partnered with a respected mid-size business litigation and insurance defense firm in Ventura, CA, to assist in hiring an experienced Litigation Paralegal . This is a full-time , in-office opportunity with a collaborative and professional team located just minutes from the beach. The firm is well known for its strong community presence, long-standing staff, and excellent workplace culture.

Position Overview : The Litigation Paralegal will manage a large caseload from file inception through trial, supporting attorneys in all aspects of civil and insurance defense litigation. The role involves extensive trial preparation and courtroom attendance alongside attorneys.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage litigation files from inception through trial.

Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness coordination, and courtroom logistics.

Draft and summarize legal documents, pleadings, discovery, and deposition transcripts.

Conduct legal and factual research as needed.

Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all deadlines.

Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree and applicable paralegal experience required.

3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably with trial preparation exposure.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and computer skills (Microsoft Office, legal databases, etc.).

Professional demeanor, initiative, and strong problem-solving ability.

Independent, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
