Salary : $18.10 - $24.00 / hour (based on experience)

Position Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. This position supports both clinical and administrative dental services to ensure high-quality care for our veterans.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide chair-side assistance for general and specialty dental procedures (restorative, prosthodontic, surgical)
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments in accordance with procedural requirements
• Assist during procedures by retracting tissue, suctioning, and passing instruments
• Take and process digital radiographs
• Follow strict infection control protocols and VA safety and privacy standards
• Support the medical center's mission with a customer-focused, respectful attitude toward patients, staff, visitors, and volunteers
• Work under the general supervision of the Dental Chief or designee
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM , with occasional Saturday shifts (8 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM)
