Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM (5x8 Hour Shifts)
Hours per Week : 40
Contract Duration : 90 Days (Expected : Nov 10, 2025 - Feb 23, 2026)
Pay Rate : $70.76 / hour
On-Call Requirement : One night per week and one weekend per month
Travel Requirement : Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technician to join the Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
- Operate, assemble, and maintain hemodynamic and electrophysiologic equipment.
- Accurately register patient data and verify medical histories.
- Provide reassurance and support to patients before and during procedures.
- Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular conditions using catheters and imaging technologies.
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKG / ECG), treadmill stress tests, and non-invasive peripheral vascular tests.
- Maintain sterile and safe operating conditions by following aseptic and safety standards.
- Stay current with industry knowledge through continuing education and professional development.
Requirements
Experience : Minimum of 2 years as a Cardiovascular Technician or in a similar Cath Lab setting.Certifications :
BLS and ACLS required.RCIS or ARRT (CI) certification preferred.Education : Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent.
Other : Must be able to take call as required (one night / week, one weekend / month).
