Description

TMC Staffing is seeking a Shipping and Receiving clerk responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy by checking shipments against orders, handling documentation, packaging items, updating inventory records, and coordinating with carriers, all while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace, requiring strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sometimes forklift operation.

Responsible for the efficient and accurate processing, tracking, and documentation of all materials and products entering and leaving the facility, ensuring timely movement and proper inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving: Unload deliveries, inspect goods for damage/accuracy, unpack, and stock items in designated locations.
• Shipping: Pick, pack, label, weigh, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment, creating necessary documentation (invoices, shipping labels).
• Inventory Management: Accurately log all movements, update inventory records, and maintain stock levels.
• Documentation: Generate and process shipping documents, delivery receipts, and tracking information.
• Coordination: Communicate with logistics, customer service, vendors, and drivers.
• Maintenance: Keep the receiving/shipping area clean, organized, and safe, following safety regulations.
• Equipment: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners as needed.
