Director, Data Engineering - Marketing Data Platform Capital One is seeking a Director of Data Engineering to work in our Marketing and Messaging organization. Capital One's Marketing and Messaging team within Enterprise Platforms Technology is responsible for all our marketing and servicing messages that we send to our customers and prospects. This individual will lead and manage the Marketing Data Platform teams, while being accountable to drive a cohesive data strategy across Marketing & Messaging in collaboration with multiple enterprise partners. This role will build teams to deliver highly performant and scalable data platforms to drive consumption of data from our enterprise data ecosystem, while driving data engineering best practices. This leader must have the ability to attract and recruit the industry’s best talent, and simultaneously have the technical chops to ensure that we build compelling, customer-oriented solutions in an iterative methodology. McLean, VA : $263,900 - $301,200 for Director, Data Engineering New York, NY : $287,800 - $328,500 for Director, Data Engineering Richmond, VA : $239,900 - $273,800 for Director, Data Engineering Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
