Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have prior retail pharmacy experience and a passion for helping others in a community-based setting. This role is essential to ensuring efficient pharmacy operations, excellent patient service, and accurate medication handling in alignment with our organization’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and labeling prescription medications
Provide courteous and professional service to patients and healthcare providers
Manage inventory, restock supplies, and verify medication accuracy
Process prescriptions and insurance claims accurately and efficiently
Maintain organized and compliant pharmacy records
Support medication safety, confidentiality, and quality assurance standards
Participate in health education or community outreach programs as needed
Qualifications
Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required
Valid state pharmacy technician license
1–2 years of retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations
Experience with pharmacy software systems and electronic health records
