As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols are vital in supporting a welcoming atmosphere, while your exceptional customer service and communication skills will help foster positive interactions. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding when appropriate to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols both inside the business and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents as per Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist visitors and personnel by offering directions and information as needed while maintaining a security-related presence.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and reporting any irregularities.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as required by site-specific protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
