Are you a nurse with a passion for aesthetics and helping clients look and feel their best?

SkinFusion FX in Altoona is offering a rare opportunity to begin your career in aesthetic medicine through a structured, paid 6-month internship.

This program is designed for LPNs (actively pursuing RN licensure) or RNs who want hands-on experience in a modern medspa environment. Youll work side by side with experienced aesthetic providers, learning every aspect of clinic operations, from treatment prep and patient care to consultations and skincare education.

After completing the internship and one additional year of employment, youll become eligible for advanced injectable training under supervision; a clear, supported pathway to becoming an aesthetic injector.

What Youll Do

Assist with treatments, room setup / turnover, and post-procedure care

Assist with completion of client intake, consents and procedure checklists, vital signs, etc

Assist with documentation of consistent before and after photos, as well as Visia skin analysis

Administer medications such as vitamin injections as IV infusions within scope of practice

Educate clients on skincare and treatment plans

Support front desk flow, inventory, and clinical organization

Shadow consultations and learn aesthetic treatment protocols

Help with even planning and preparation, as well as participate in networking opportunities

Followup with clients post-procedure

Requirements

Active Iowa LPN or RN license (LPNs pursuing RN welcome)

BCLS certification
