Senior Commercial Banking Relationship Manager
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Banking Relationship Manager for clients with annual revenue up to $100MM as part of the South Central Division supporting the Houston market. In this role, you will :
- Drive intentional client selection to grow the portfolio with businesses generating up to $100MM in annual revenue.
- Develop, retain, and expand complex client relationships through strategic relationship management, understanding client priorities, responding promptly, communicating proactively, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback.
- Lead structuring, modification, and renewal of complex credit solutionsincluding cash flow and real estate loansby analyzing financials, presenting recommendations, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and partnering with senior peers on sophisticated transactions.
- Deliver the full suite of Wells Fargo solutions by engaging product teams to create tailored strategies based on deep understanding of client businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions.
- Make informed decisions in multifaceted situations within Commercial Banking Relationship Management, ensuring compliance with policies and driving team deliverables and new initiatives.
- Collaborate strategically with peers and senior leaders to resolve client issues, navigate internal processes, escalate inquiries, and identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control; serve as a mentor to junior colleagues.
- Execute relationship planning and pipeline management by maintaining accurate data in relevant systems and ensuring disciplined sales practices.
- Support business development efforts by leveraging existing networks to source new Commercial Banking clients.
- Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide market insights and client feedback, influencing innovation and delivery of credit solutions.
Required Qualifications :
4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications :
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury managementCompletion of formal credit training programCommercial banking account relationship management experience for clients with annual revenue of up to $100MMDemonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospectsDemonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationshipsExperience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and proceduresExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsJob Expectations :
