Job Description
Responsibilities :
The Assembler 2 position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical / electronic equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standard
- Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, Apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and / or limited supervision
- Perform a variety of complex mechanical and / or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures
- Conduct inspections of own and / or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and / or customer drawing
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards
- Maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record
- Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures
- Additional job duties and tasks as needed
- Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed
- Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech / Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Secondary Certificate / High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
Experience : Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in an electronics / manufacturing environment or completed OJT training for at least 5 products

Able to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in EnglishEffective oral and written communicationMust be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as neededProficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assignedUse hand tools, power tools and electric soldering gunLift and Carry up to 30lbsAble and willing to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass all related drug / alcohol screeningsAble to perform complex mechanical and / or electromechanical assembly operationCapable of solving problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or proceduresSkilled at simple welding tasks and / or brazing, or solderingAbility to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating / manufacturing instructions, policies and proceduresExperience with MS Office SuiteGood manual dexterity required to work with small partsCandidate Requirement : Candidate must pass a hands-on assessment to be moved to the in-person interview stage of the recruitment process. Candidates unable to pass the assessment will not move forward in the process.
