Job Summary
Field Service Technician for Water & Ice Dispensers. Location : Fayetteville, GA.
Responsibilities
- Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations. Wears proper personal protective equipment.
- Attends and successfully completes required technician training classes.
- Maintains necessary set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer\'s specifications.
- Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company owned equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
- Work in a neat and orderly fashion, consistently seeking ways to improve methods, work area, and safety standards.
- Inspect components to ensure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs. Complete required documentation using appropriate software to document repairs performed on equipment and for repair time accounting.
- Monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and inform the supervisor of any cost overrun prior to job completion.
- Approach work positively, support the team, and set a standard for others. Contribute to team efforts by completing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality. Train and / or mentor others in the department. Assume the supervisor\'s position temporarily, as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
