About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - MS / Tele

Location (Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Winston Salem, NC 27103 (ONSITE)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Working Hours : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)

Total Weekly Hours : 36 hrs REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP :

Minimum Years of Experience : 2 yrs exp. MUST HAVE ORTHO EXPERIENCE.

Traveler Experience : Unit will accept 1st time travelers WITH EPIC EXPERIENCE

Locals Accepted / Rate Difference : Yes

Skills : IV Start, and Telemetry.

Certs : BCLS, NIH

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP :

ACLS, Charge Nurse Experience, Level I Trauma Experience

JOB DETAILS :

Ratios : EXPECT 5-6 : 1 RATIO, can flex up to 7 : 1 but only in extreme cases.

Unit will accept contracts for 13 weeks

SHIFT : 12 HOUR NIGHTS (biggest need is Mon-Thurs at this time)

• 36 Hours or 48 Hours can be offered. If Accepting 48 hours, No OT until after 48 hours.

Float Requirement : REQUIRED, YES, Travelers could be required to float to any other med surg unit within the facility to meet staffing needs based on census.

Weekend Requirement : Every other WEEKEND required. (IF RN calls out on a weekend, they will be required to make that time up on a weekend).

PATIENT POPULATION : Avg. Daily Census : 37. Rooms : 39; Beds : 39. Patient Population : Orthopedic, Neuro spine, Med-surg, Post-surgical.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES :

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : FAST PACED UNIT. Ortho and spine patients requiring nurses who can stay on top of their pain management.
