The role you'll contribute :
This position contributes to the mission and goals of the department by providing professional quality Nuclear Medicine imaging services in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
The value you'll bring to the team :
Always uses two types of patient identifiers (name and date of birth) matched with arm band
Performs quality CT scan studies upon orders of licensed practitioner
Verifies physician order prior to scanning
Checks with physician, floor RN, Radiologist if clarification of orders are needed
Assures radiation safety for patients and associates
Utilizes lead shielding as provided by the facility
Qualifications - External
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
Minimum qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduate of JCERT approved Nuclear Medicine program
Current Florida license in Nuclear Medicine
CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech
(N) ARDMS or ARRT - Nuclear Med Tech
