Responsibilities
Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings in clinic and homesFollow behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition protocolsConsistently implement treatment plans under Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervisionCollect, record and summarize data on observable client’s behaviorEnsure that client’s session notes are entered into the medical records on a timely basis and in accordance with established organizational proceduresEffectively communicate with caregivers and / or school personnel regarding client progress as instructed by supervising clinicianAssist supervising clinician with preparation of client materials, behavior reduction assessments and skills acquisitionRegularly engage with supervisor and management to provide pertinent feedback regarding client sessions, and request supportUnderstand and adhere to HIPAA policiesAdditional duties as assignedRequired Skills
Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)At least one (1) year of related professional experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and / or other developmental disabilitiesRBT certification (preferred, not required- we'll train you!)Prior experience as a direct support professional is a plusKnowledge and / or experience in the field of early intervention (preferred)Patience and desire to grow in the field of ABASolid interpersonal skills required to work as an effective member of an interdisciplinary teamAbility to be flexible and respond to varying situationsCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to serve culturally and linguistically diverse families in low and high social economic status areasEffective verbal and written communication skillsComfortable using different technologies and software programs, as well as data collection applicationsBilingual is a plus!
