JOB TITLE : Paint Line Operator - 2nd Shift
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY : Under the direction of the lead / supervisor, mask and plug customer defined features in preparation for powder coat. Load and unload product from chain drive as directed by department lead. Monitor work in process for adherence to customer specifications. Package to prevent damage and transport finished goods to shipping. All other duties assigned.

Read and interpret customer blueprints to properly mask and plug customer identified featuresProperly use diagnostic equipment to verify coating qualityPrepare surfaces for painting, which may include sanding, masking and cleaningRemove masking and plugs of production parts exiting the cure ovenHang and remove production parts from chain lineInspect painted products for quality and ensure they meet specificationsManage inventory of paint, coatings, and other suppliesAdhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipmentExecute routine housekeeping to maintain a clean and debris free departmentCommunicate clearly and in a timely manner with supervisor, lead, and co-workersWilling to work overtime when neededMaintain the responsibilities of the ISO 9001 system in accordance with the requirements defined in the Quality Manual, and Procedure Level documentationParticipate actively and positively in Lean activitiesNon-Essential

Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Must have normal vision (with or without corrective lenses) and hearing (with or without corrective hearing aids).
Working Environment : Production environment; Industrial ovens and miscellaneous heating equipment running continuously. High noise level, exceeding 85 Db in some areas. Exposure to dusty powder, heat with no air conditioning, and cold.
This position will require drug testing per company policy.
Monday - Thursday 12 : 00pm - 10 : 30pm
