Responsibilities Develop and implement integrated strategic communications plans to advance brand identity
Create marketing and public relations strategies to build meaningful relationships with media and key influencers
Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person on media interactions
Recruit and manage a communications team to execute the communications strategy
Establish and monitor staff performance goals and conduct annual performance appraisals
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior management role, either in-house or with an agency
Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors
Extensive writing and editing experience with various print and online media
Demonstrated leadership in managing strategic communications and media relations programs
Preferred Qualifications Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
Energetic and proactive team leader with experience in mentoring communication specialists
Experience measuring the ROI of communications activities
