Job Duties :
Supervisor and lead a team of QA inspectorsInvestigate and resolve quality complaints, non-conformances, and deviations from specificationsCollaborate with production and manufacturing teams to identify and address quality concerns.Perform First Article, in-process, receiving and final inspection in support of production activitiesApprove incoming materials and parts by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsApprove in-process production by confirming specifications; conduction visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustmentsApproves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-workDocument inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality databaseKeep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructionsMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulationsParticipates in frequent and detailed recurrent training courses covering aerospace systems and requirements, company operations policy, etcPerforms other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures LLC\n \n

Education and Experience :
High School diploma or GED5+ years of experience in quality assurance in aerospace manufacturing2+ years in leadership roleExperience with micrometers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, etc, preferred\n
