Patent Litigation Associate Attorney (Life Sciences / ANDA) – 2nd to 5th Year

Locations : Washington, DC & Palo Alto, CA

Practice Area : IP Litigation (Life Sciences)

Direct Counsel is seeking a 2nd–5th year IP Litigation Associate to join a leading firm’s Washington, DC or Palo Alto office . This role is ideal for candidates with ANDA and / or life sciences patent litigation experience who are eager to take on substantive responsibilities, including courtroom advocacy and depositions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Handle patent litigation matters in U.S. District Courts and before the PTAB .
• Conduct factual and legal research , draft pleadings , and develop case strategies .
• Participate in discovery on infringement, validity, and damages issues .
• Take and defend depositions , draft dispositive motions , and handle claim construction briefing .
• Engage in pre-trial and trial activities .
• Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams.
