Description
Responsibilities
- Dismantle, assemble or fabricate general equipment (i.e. mills, pulverizers, conveyors, crushers, rotating equipment with belts, chains, fan housings, blowers, motors, etc.)
- Diagnose and make repairs to such general plant equipment as mills, pulverizers, crushers, conveyors, etc.
- Handle heavy, bulky units, in rigging, moving and setting them.
- Make decisions concerning the feasibility of salvaging or scrapping equipment or parts removed for repair or replacement.
- Repair, fabricate or improve metals by welding or cutting.
- Use blueprints, verbal instructions, or original ideas to perform the work.
- Use his skill in any part of the plant as required.

- Assist other crafts.
