Serve as a functional expert for the payroll technology ecosystem, including Oracle and UKG. Partner with IT and Payroll leadership to evaluate system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and support configuration changes. Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, test cases, and process system upgrades, patches, integrations, and data validation activities. Analyze and maintain union-related payroll data to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Collaborate with Payroll and Labor Relations teams to interpret union agreements and translate requirements into system rules or reporting logic. Monitor compliance with union reporting standards and identify opportunities to streamline processes. Assist with payroll tax configuration, audits, and reconciliations across multiple jurisdictions. Partner with Payroll Tax specialists to ensure system accuracy for tax rates, limits, and regulatory changes. Support tax-related reporting, data validation, and issue resolution. Identify opportunities to enhance payroll workflows, data quality, and system efficiency. Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools to support decision-making and compliance. Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align on process changes and ensure smooth implementation. Lead or support user acceptance testing (UAT) for payroll system changes. Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and reporting requirements. Train payroll team members on new system features, tools, or processes.
Essential Skills: 5+ years of Business Analyst experience. Proficiency in Oracle and UKG. Strong data analysis skills, including pivot tables.
Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in payroll systems and compliance. Ability to develop dashboards and reporting tools. Experience in facilitating cross-functional discussions and process improvements.
