Job Overview :

We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Director of Nursing for our Adolescent Behavioral Health unit. This pivotal role requires a skilled nursing leader who is eager to make a positive impact on the lives of adolescents. The Director will oversee and manage nursing services, ensuring the highest quality of care for patients. The successful candidate will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement strategies that promote the mental and emotional well-being of our youth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide leadership and direction for nursing staff, fostering an environment of continuous improvement, teamwork, and professional development.
• Develop and implement nursing care policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a high level of patient care.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff, therapists, social workers, and other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing personnel within the unit.
• Monitor patient outcomes, support the integration of evidence-based practices, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
• Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for clinical staff, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
• Engage with patients and families to provide support and education regarding care plans and therapeutic processes.
