Job Title : School Social Worker

Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join a school team in Austin, TX. The School Counselor will support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students by providing counseling services and collaborating with staff and families to create a positive learning environment. Caseload is approximately 40 students, with most receiving counseling once per month.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development through direct services and targeted interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential counseling records, documenting services and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs and implement support strategies.
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to student support planning.
• Promote a positive and inclusive school climate by facilitating preventative programs and student engagement activities.
