The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible and accountable for the provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Louisiana Nurse Practice Act, physician’s orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

The LPN works with professional and non-professional employees of the hospital, physicians, patients, families, visitors, allied health professionals and may be required to interact with students and their instructors.

• BLS Certification Required
• ACLS Certification Required
