JOB DESCRIPTION :

The right candidate for the Shift Manager position is someone who is excited to work with other people and possesses the skills necessary to get the job done right.

The Shift Manager is responsible to complete all restaurant tasks required to maintain a successful and profitable shift, including but not limited to :

• Employee coaching and discipline
• Training of new staff members
• Building the weekly schedule
• Receiving and putting away truck orders
• Participating in the recording and analyzing of weekly inventory
• Adhering to par levels for the store set by the General Manager while ensuring that shifts have proper on-hand inventory levels and proper food preparation levels
• Participating in employee retention initiatives and employee contest initiatives to drive sales and service
• Mitigating employee employer liabilities through proper record keeping and reporting to direct supervisors
• Acknowledging and becoming fluent in local standards and health department standards for restaurants and executing those standards to a level of excellence on all shifts worked
• Encouraging and promoting a positive culture in and outside of the restaurant in your actions

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Compensation : $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
