Responsibilities
- Work harmoniously with our dental team to deliver unparalleled hospitality and ensure clients receive an extraordinary level of care, crafting an ambiance of warmth and comfort throughout their visit
- Assist Dr. Abby Dew during dental procedures, ensuring clients are comfortable and relaxed throughout their visit
- Prepare and maintain the dental treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
- Take and develop 2D and 3D dental radiographs (X-rays) and scans as directed by the dentist
- Educate clients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols
- Manage dental supplies as needed to ensure the seamless operation of the practice
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing client records using dental software
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and state regulations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferredCertified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification requiredMinimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience in a clinical settingProficiency in taking dental radiographs (X-rays) and maintaining digital recordsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centered approach to careExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailKnowledge of dental software and scheduling systemsCommitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanorAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-end environment with discretion and professionalismCPR certification required
