Position :

Director of Library Services

Status : Full-time, Exempt

Reports to :

Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs

Qualifications :

• Master of Library / Information Science accredited by the American Library Association with at least three years' experience in library work.
• Knowledge of budgeting, collection development, staff supervision, and experience working with students.

Job Responsibilities :

The Director of Library Services is a 12-month administrative staff member with voting privileges on certain shared-governance committees.

The library director is expected to work, on a regular basis, the hours necessary to perform the job responsibilities, to manage absences from work in a responsible manner, and to comply with Campbellsville University's rules and regulations as outlined in the Administrative Policies and Procedures Manual.

The employee is expected to conduct him or herself, both on campus and off, in a manner becoming an employee of a Christian institution. The employee should uphold the highest standards of conduct in terms of honesty, truthfulness, respectful attitude, and conduct toward others. Each individual associated with Campbellsville University is to perform his or her daily responsibilities mindful of the intent of the institutional mission statement and core values.
