IT Generalist

Overview

We have an outstanding Contract position for an IT Generalist to join a leading Rapid Emergency Response Company located in the Lakeland , FL surrounding area.

Are you a tech-savvy individual with a diverse skill set and a passion for problem-solving? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Information Technology Generalist (IT Generalist).

As an IT Generalist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support and services to a 24 / 7 operation. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including hardware and software maintenance, network administration, user support, and project management. You will be the go-to person for all things technology, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and the satisfaction of our employees.

• Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications
• Manage and maintain the organization\'s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points
• Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure the security and integrity of our data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and productivity
• Will work 12-hour shifts : 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am, 3 days a week, possible OT
