Lead Specialist - Contract Negotiator

Duration :   6-month Contract to Hire Opportunity. Reliable employees will be given the chance to convert at the end of the contract period.

Location :   Remote ,  but must work PST or MST hours starting at 8am or 9am

Pay Rate :   $30-$40 / HR

Requirements

  • 3+ years of contract management experience
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • 1+ year of healthcare experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to perform financial analysis

    • Job Description

    This role will be tasked with the creation, negotiation, and execution agreements, inclusive of but not limited to Multi-Patient Agreements, Fee-For-Service Agreements, and renewals between payors and client facilities. In addition to executing agreements, they will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the team, providing strategic guidance, training teammates, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality

    Day-to-Day

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of contract terms and rate structures.
  • Review patient notes, historical system data, claims analyses, and validate benefits and eligibility.
  • Foster collaboration across various intra-departmental teams and ROPs to ensure the acquisition of precise information crucial for complete agreement execution.
  • Leverage influencing skills to facilitate consensus on terms and rates for Single Patient Agreements, Multi Patient Agreements, Managed Gov, Pace, or Prison.
  • Work with legal on term negotiations on contracts and present packet to executive for approval.
  • Consistently meet and uphold performance and production targets while adeptly managing client relationships.
  • Ensure quality assurance and approval of agreements is timely as required
