This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

19 : 00-07 : 00, with every 3rd Friday and Saturday from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 plus an additional Friday or Saturday each schedule.

Job Description

The Cardiac Telemetry Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced unit with cardiac telemetry patients. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients, interpreting EKGs, and responding to changes in patient conditions. The position requires the ability to manage admissions, discharges, transfers, and procedures efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor cardiac patients using telemetry equipment.
  • Perform EKGs and interpret results for timely intervention.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status changes.
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  • Maintain team coordination to ensure optimum patient care.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Telemetry experience and proficiency in reading EKGs are required.
  • Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
