ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Location This position is available in a Medical Surgical unit. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift : 4x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15). Weekend coverage required every other weekend. Job Description The position requires a skilled Registered Nurse to provide care in a Medical Surgical unit with a primary population of patients having general medical-surgical diagnoses, including those undergoing chemotherapy. Nurses will be responsible for managing patient care and performing necessary clinical interventions. Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy / biotherapy - IV, PO, or injection. Manage patients with diagnoses such as Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), Sepsis, and Cancer. Perform wound care and administer IV therapy and blood products. Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies. Provide patient education and support regarding treatment plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing required. BLS certification required; Oncology Certified Nurse (ONC) certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Experience with IV therapy, blood product administration, and managing peripheral lines.
