Pest Control Trainer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Follow established rules and regulations; maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Daily supervision & mentorship of Meskwaki Apprenticeship Program participants in the evaluation / identity of pest infestations; methods of treatment and preventative measures.
• Organize, file and maintain daily records
• Assist in the coordination and completion of residential / commercial service calls.
• Assist in the planning & coordination of on the job and learning lab activities
• Assist in the assessment / evaluation of Meskwaki Apprenticeship Program participants
• Assist in the development & execution of on the job learning in accordance to the Meskwaki Apprenticeship Program curriculum
• Assist with ordering & maintenance of material, tools, and safety equipment.
• Assist with the implementation, delivery, and execution of the Exterminator course curriculum.
• Assist with the evaluation and grading of apprenticeship program participants.
• Assist in the creation of project plans; materials, quotes, budgets, timelines
• Effectively integrate technology and sustainable pest control practices into the apprenticeship learning environment.
• Proper deployment of chemical solutions, powders, gasses, traps, baits.
• Insure adherence to US Department of Labor Apprenticeship Standards.
• Attend required meetings / trainings as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned
