Quality Assurance Manager
Lead a team of QA inspectors to perform quality gate inspections on coaches, covering all stages from car shell welding to finishing and final assembly.
Coordinate inspections with production teams and customer resident inspectors.
Serve as the escalation point of contact for production quality issues.
Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of the quality component of the Integrated Management System, in alignment with the quality strategy and local regulations.
Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation, including inspection reports, quality metrics, and corrective action plans.
Conduct regular training sessions for QA inspectors to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest quality standards and procedures.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to identify and suggest process enhancements.
Previous supervisory experience.
Previous quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
A continuous improvement mindset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in quality management systems and tools.
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00 / hr.
