Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Emergency Room

Unit : ER / Emergency Department

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 7, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12 Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,960–$2,100 per week

ER RN Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or eligibility to obtain

Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association preferred)

NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Ability to comply with hospital flu vaccine policy (mask required if declining or exempt)

Not eligible if employed by this organization within the past 5 years

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide expert emergency care to patients in a busy ER setting

Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and critical conditions

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per clinical protocols

Accurately document patient care and nursing interventions

Respond rapidly to emergencies and perform life-saving procedures

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
