Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (Full Time and Part Time)

Functional Kids Clinic is a small outpatient clinic in Saint Paul, MN. We are professional, innovative, and interested in forming strong relationships with our clients and families. We create a positive working environment by supporting our therapists to continually learn and use new skills. We update the tools and equipment available to meet clients needs. We provide high quality therapy to pediatric and young adult clients.

Our outpatient setting allows clients to receive the highest amount of time and individualized treatment possible. Sessions are either 30 minutes or 45 minutes in duration. This leads to meaningful progress toward their specific goal areas. It is rewarding for clients and for therapists!

We are seeking a half time and a full time SLP to join our strong team, responsibilities include evaluating and clinical analysis of results. This leads to meaningful goals and collaborative work with the families. Direct treatment with clients using a variety of approaches. Mentoring is provided to all therapists on the team on a regular basis.

We are seeking a part time SLP / CCC to work 12p-6p 4 days a week.

We are seeking a full time SLP?CCC to work 8a-6p 4 days a week.

Our speech / language practice has strong mentor leaders. We have weekly mentoring in place and a supportive and friendly group of staff at our clinic. We are flexible and adaptable, and strive to work as a team with OT, PT and Speech Language therapists.

Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of communication disorders in children and young adults, development of home programs, communicating with caregivers, documentation, collaboration with other providers both within the clinic and at other agencies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in speech therapy, patient care, and medical terminology
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and patient assessment
• Experience in working with pediatric populations
