Job Description
Key responsibilities :
- Process payroll for employees at multiple locations on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy in wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
- Manage and process various payroll deductions, garnishments, and tax exemptions.
- Ensure all payroll activities adhere to federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management, finance, and accounting departments. Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2s.
- Conduct payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Serve as the first point of contact regarding payroll-related questions and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the payroll process.
- Process contributions for 401(k) Plan funding, and / or HSA contributions.
- Ad-hoc reporting as required for compliance, etc.
Required qualifications and skills
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred.Certification in payroll FPC or CPP is highly desirable.A minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role is required.Experience with payroll software ADP and knowledge of tax laws and payroll regulations is essential.Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication skills for handling employee inquiries and collaborating with internal teams.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.Strong problem-solving skills to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.If you enjoy innovation, and an opportunity to learn and contribute to a growing organization, CSP is the place for you!
