Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and at least 1 year of acute care experience for a night shift position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in an acute care setting on the CT Tech unit
  • Night shift schedule, Tuesday through Thursday, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Weekend shifts may be required as needed to cover PTO
  • No floating required—CT department only
  • Department has 2 Siemens CT scanners : one main and one in the ED
  • Average caseload is approximately 8 scans per overnight shift
  • Procedures performed include general CT, CT biopsy, and CTA Coronary studies
  • Epic EMR and PACS system are used in the department
  • Trauma level 3 environment
  • Role involves performing a variety of CT imaging procedures including biopsies and coronary angiography
  • No radiologist in-house, but a 24 / 7 reading room is available
  • Orientation is provided during the first week and must be attended in state
  • Scrubs are not provided
  • May be expected to help cover holidays as needed
  • Two professional references required : one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years
  • Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility
  • Returning candidates must not have been employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity, within the past year

  • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience in an acute care setting
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Active state licensure for the state of assignment where applicable; license required if applicable
  • Experience with Siemens CT scanners preferred
  • Must be able to start IVs
  • Copy of valid driver's license must be provided for consideration
